Kardex VCA is located in Wodonga, Victoria in over 4500sq.m. of factory/office complex in one of the main industrial parks. Transport to anywhere in Australasia is facilitated by our proximity to the Hume Highway and the Port of Melbourne.

Kardex VCA has been successfully manufacturing automated storage and retrieval systems for over 10 years. Our product range can be found in almost every industrial and commercial sector and our customer list reads like a Who’s Who of Australian and New Zealand business.

Each and every customer has a different storage and retrieval need and we have achieved clear market leadership by meeting these various needs. We take pride in our ability to respond to customer’s needs to create innovative and specialised solutions for any storage challenge.

This ability stems largely from our proven ability to tailor our various software packages and to meet the challenge of interfacing the carousel software system into the business to provide a seamless solution.

Since 1996 Kardex VCA has been the only quality accredited manufacturer of carousels in Australia. Our commitment to continual product improvement sees us spend over 8% of our sales volume on R&D.

We make use of the latest 3D modelling techniques to reduce lead times and to increase the accuracy of our output. We have a test centre where all our improvements, both hardware and software, can be tested exhaustively before release onto the market.

Kardex VCA, through its association with Kardex AG, is one of the few companies that can manufacture, install and service automated storage and retrieval systems throughout the world. We have access to the wide range of systems manufactured by Kardex companies. These include horizontal carousels, shuttles, stakkas and specialised office and commercial carousels.

Kardex VCA plays its part in the Kardex organisation by supplying heavy duty Stakkas to Europe. These machines carry up to 3 tonnes of payload on every carrier with a wide range of load sizes. This development is an Australian first and further demonstrates the innovative approach available from Kardex VCA.
